Pottery Lessons

Learning from Grandpa!

Pottery should be fun, regardless of ability. I work with one student per wheel and never have more than 4 students at a time; this enables me to spend quality time and provide an intensive but enjoyable experience.

Opening soon in 2018 Melton Village Studio and Gallery, Melton Constable, Norfolk.

New studio set up for day and evening classes

At present I am using an adapted ‘Phoenix’ cross draught kiln. This is fuelled by waste timber from the building industry that would, otherwise, end up in landfill.
Interested students can enrol on kiln firing sessions – please contact me to discuss further.
I have been passing on, as I hate the word teaching, my skills and knowledge for some years now.  Many students have gone on to set up studios for themselves and our relationship continues.   I am always available for advice, especially when buying used equipment and generally there, if required, if it all goes wrong, and it does!

Pottery is a life experience and we should feel privileged to work alongside this incredible material.  Remember, if you enjoy making it that’s all that matters!

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS YOUR NEEDS FURTHER.
